    📣 INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCOUNT CREATION ON THE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)

    In our continued efforts to enhance professional development and ensure easy access to educational resources, Valenzuela Medical Center is implementing a new Learning Management System (LMS). In compliance with the hospital target of 100% of all staff with learning and development intervention, all VMC employees are required to create an account on the LMS platform using the link, elearning.valmed.ph which will provide access to essential learning modules and online courses designed to support ongoing professional development.

    Kindly adhere to the following instructions to successfully create your LMS account:

    LMS Account Creation

    1.      Go to elearning.valmed.ph

    2.      On the upper right side of the page, click “Log in”.

    3.      Click “Create Account”.

    4.      Fill out the necessary information in creating your account.

    5.      Click “Create my new account” once you’re done.

    6.      Kindly coordinate with PETRU or IMISS to activate your account.

    How can users access the courses in the LMS?

    1.      Log in to your LMS account.

    2.      On the left side of the page, click “Dashboard”.

    3.      On the right side of the page, click “Customize this page”. An “add a block” button will then appear on the left side of the page.

    4.      Click “add a block” and select “Courses”.

    5.      You may now access and explore the available courses in the “Course Categories” on the right side of the page.

    6.      Click “Expand all” to check which course category the course belongs to.

    7.      Select the course and click “Enrol me” or you may coordinate with your program coordinator to manually enrol you in the course.

    In line with our Prime HRM Level 3 Accreditation and the transition to the blended type of learning, your participation in the LMS will enhance your professional growth and support the hospital’s mission to provide the highest quality of service through personnel development.

    The 4Rs Framework for Women and Child Protection (Recognition, Response, Referral, and Reporting) provides a comprehensive approach to understanding safeguarding and protection, making it an ideal orientation tool for new employees who will be interacting with students and colleagues and implementing protective programs and services. In response, this 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, aligned with the WHO 2025 global theme "Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures," will be held from November 25 to December 12, 2025. The campaign seeks to integrate health education and gender advocacy by highlighting the connection between women's rights, maternal well-being, mental health, and violence prevention. 

    Spearheaded by the Gender and Development (GAD) Committee and Women and Children Protection Unit in collaboration with the Medical Social Work Department, this  hospital-based initiative will serve as a platform for patient-centered education, empowerment, and psychosocial support. It also reinforces the hospital's commitment to being safe, inclusive, and responsive institution for women, mothers, and families seeking care. Grounded in the principles of Health Promotion, gender Equality, and Universal Health Care, the campaign underscores that a women and children's health, dignity, and safety are shared community responsibilities - and that every women and children deserves to feel safe, heard, and cared for at every stage of life.

    The Pharmacy Lecture Series and Training & Learning Development Program is a structured capacity-building initiative designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and professional competencies of pharmacy personnel through focused lectures and guided training activities , supporting continuous professional development, improved pharmacy practice standards, and strengthened service delivery in hospital and public health settings 

    This module provides an overview of the organizational structure and personnel management of hospital pharmacy service, emphasizing collaborative relationships within the healthcare team and essential financial management skills for pharmacy leadership to support efficient operations, effective resource utilization, and quality patient care.

    The Gender Sensitivity Orientation aims to equip new employees with foundational knowledge necessary to promote inclusivity, equitable service delivery, and respectful professional conduct. It also supports VMC's commitment to quality patient care, where gender-sensitive services are integral to patient safety, confidentiality, dignity, and overall well-being.

    As part of its Gender and Development (GAD) mainstreaming efforts, VMC ensures that all employees—especially newly hired staff—are oriented on gender concepts, gender-fair communication, prevention of sexual harassment, and their roles in upholding a gender-responsive hospital environment.

    The implementation of a comprehensive training program on Republic Act No. 6713, the "Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees," is rooted in the imperative to cultivate a culture of integrity, accountability, and transparency within the public sector.
